Artists taking over Finnish Art Agency's Instagram account for summer

Finnish Art Agency is privileged to work with so many talented artists, who are also active in social media. Now it’s time to our SHIFT mentoring program participants and our very own photographer take over our Instagram account for summer.

We will start with painter Anu Kauhaniemi (@anukauhaniemi) whose exhibition Carousel is currently on display at G12 Kuopio. At the moment, painter Silja Selonen (@sselonen) is finalising her latest works for her summer exhibition at Brinkhall Mansion. Glass and ceramic artists Elina Salonen (@elina.salonen) will be spending her time in a glass course in the UK, so hopefully we’ll see some behind the scenes footage. Wales-based artist Jenny Cashmore (@jennycashmore) is currently working on project happening later this year in Helsinki. In the end of July, our very own photography assistant Ninni Vidgren (@ninnividgren) will take over our account. She is currently working on a cook book project coming up later this year. August will start with Päivi Allonen‘s (@paiviallonen) solo exhibition at Galleria Katariina followed by Tamara Piilola‘s (@tamarapiilola) group exhibitions at Gallery Heino and Viljandi.

Finnish Art Agency’s office will be closed in July and we will be back again in August. Have a great summer and enjoy the sunny weather!
