Jenny Cashmore taking part in SHIFT mentoring program

We are excited to announce that Wales based Jenny Cashmore is taking part in this year’s SHIFT mentoring program. She works across intervention, performance, lens based mediums, and sculptures. Her work is created in response to sites and place, exploring the relationship between the built environment and the people within it. Her recent research and development project “Like No One is Watching” explored various  techniques that may inform an alternative interaction with our built environment.  She will continue the project by focusing on the domestic space, its architecture and the body within it.

Cashmore’s mentoring program will be structured around the two visits in Helsinki, first in April and the second in autumn 2017. During her stays she will have a chance to meet the local art experts and other actors on the field. Her participation in the program is supported by the Arts Council of Wales.
