Artist – would you like to show your craft works to a curator?
Do you work with craft? Would you like to present your recent works for a curator? We are hosting a curator guest and would definitely like to show your craft art to her. If you wish to show your works in Helsinki for Anne please send your website link, images of the works/portfolio to info(at)finnishartagency.com by 27th of November. We will try to book as many artists as possible for her visit. Selected portfolio meetings will be arraged in Helsinki on the 10th of December 2023. We will get back to you on specific meeting time if you are selected.
Our guest: Anne Klontz
Anne Klontz (USA/Sweden) is a freelance curator and Head of Exhibitions at Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design. Current curatorial projects include Co-curator of the 46th Tendencies Biennale for Nordic Contemporary Crafts (2024) and “Fresh Brew” a group exhibition hosted by Stockholm City Arts Centre (2023).Other recent exhibitions include: “The Hands That Unravel the Sweater” for The Norwegian Association of Arts and Crafts and the North Norwegian Arts Centre in Lofoten, Norway (2022); and “2084” with Catalysti Transcultural Artists in Finland (2020). Anne Klontz is originally from Seattle, Washington and has a dual master’s degree in International Curating Management and Culture and Media Production.
