Camilla Vuorenmaa nominated as Ars Fennica candidate

Camilla Vuorenmaa has been shortlisted as one of the candidates for the next Ars Fennica art prize in 2017. The Ars Fennica Award presented by the Henna and Pertti Niemistö Ars Fennica Art Foundation is the biggest Finnish art award that has been awarded since 1991. Chaired by the Leena Niemistö, the award committee consists of Museum Director Leevi Haapala and artists Jussi Kivi and Elina Merenmies. The Ars Fennica art award is given annually to one artist in recognition of distinctive artistic output of high merit. The award is 40,000 euros. The other nominees are Maija Blåfield, Pekka ja Teija Isorättyä, Perttu Saksa, and Kari Vehosalo.
