Finnish Art Agency welcomes assistant curator Darja Zaitsev

MA Darja Zaitsev will join the Finnish Art Agency team. Working as the assistant curator she will be assisting in artist collaboration and various different projects.

Zaitsev will be working closely with the upcoming New Narrative and Reader a group exhibition by 15 Finnish artists curated by Laura Köönikkä. The exhibition will be held at Bury Art Museum and Sculpture Centre in UK in summer 2015. The exhibition will tour to Salo Art Museum in Finland in October 2015.

Previously Darja has worked as a curator and researcher f.ex. at the Jyväskylä art museum and in her own K6A6 hallway gallery. She has graduated as Master of Arts from the University of Lapland in Rovaniemi in 2012. Currently Darja is also studying Curating, Managing, and Mediating Art (CuMMA) at Aalto University in Helsinki.
