On the 26th of June Finnish Art Agency is happy to host two workshops online with professional art critics and writers Laura Robertson and Mike Pinnington. The two sessions are held online (zoom) and you can purchase them by e-mailing your enrolment to info ( at ) finnishartagency.com. In the e-mail you can write if you want to participate both workshops or only one of them.

About the workshops:

At 4pm (Finnish time) on the 26th of June (2h):
Every time I write, I create myself with Laura Robertson
The workshop will give you a confidence boost as a writer. You can focus on your creative practice and let Laura’s fantastic guidance help you verbalise your processes through writing exercises and practical info. The workshop will inspire you to find your voice in your writing. Laura will make you write but you don’t have to share your texts. The workshop is an inspirational journey for you who desires to verbalise and write more about your artistic practice. Best part of this workshop is that you are positively challenged to write and guided how to keep writing! You can let your inner-critic rest for a while, at least for this workshop!

At 6:30pm (Finnish time) on the 26th of June (2h):
Statement as Bridge for the Audience – and you
Approaches to writing about your practice with Mike Pinnington
The workshop is full of practical and helpful ideas and examples. During the workshop you will understand the meaning of different text types and the power of your tone of voice as a writer. Mike will help you build skills in categorising your texts for different requests. In the workshop you will understand how you as an artist can write material about your own art with less stress.
