SHIFT mentoring program 2022 is here soon! Building the program has been exciting and we are so grateful for the amazing list of external international arts and culture professionals who will share their knowledge and experiences with the participating artists. Building a network during times like these can be challenging. How to reach institutions, how to talk about your art and how to focus on your strengths. External professionals will share their career stories in addition to honest opinions about art world’s best practices.

Participants will learn about conceptualising art works and exhibitions, commissioning art from artists point of view and institutions point of view. How to price you work, collaboration and presentation as an artist. We will also focus on writing about your art and updating your artist statement. Hearing ideas, thoughts and experiences from art professionals and artists will be an opportunity for the participants to gain knowledge and information for their own future practice. The program is held 100% online and you can access it via zoom. 

Apply between the 11th – 28th of January. The program is a possibility for artists to focus on their career development with the help of international professionals. The core of the program is each participant’s personal development and process which will be supported by individual personal coaching sessions and group sessions, talks and dialogue with others.
