New Narrative and Reader in Salo in a week!

The group exhibition of 15 young Finnish artists run in Manchester, England from 6th of June to 29th of August 2015. Now the exhibition comes to Salo, Finland, and is open to the public from 17th of October to 17.1.2016 in Salo Art Museum.

New Narrative and Reader – Taiteen uudet tarinat exhibition is curated by MA Laura Köönikkä and produced by Bury Art Museum and Sculpture Centre together with Salo Art Museum. The exhibition features contemporary art in many different forms: photographs, paintings, sculptures and installations. Köönikkä aimed to curate an exhibition in which both the artworks as well as their origin stories form a narrative for the audience to compare with their own experiences.

The artists participating in New Narrative and Reader – Taiteen uudet tarinat are: Erno Enkenberg, Sami Havia, Pauliina Kaasalainen, Laura Konttinen, Teemu Korpela, Sampo Malin, Niina Mantsinen, Karoliina Paappa, Sami Parkkinen, Tiina Pyykkinen, Maria Teeri & Janne Nabb, Taneli Rautiainen, Bita Razavi, and Camilla Vuorenmaa.
