Want to start your own art collection?

On Saturday March 14th at 2pm hi-fi expert and businessman Erling Neby and curator Hanna Mamia-Walther from “Colour, line and square – Erling Neby Collection” exhibition are having a talk about Erling Neby art collection and the art of collecting. Finnish Art Agency recommends this event for everyone who is interested in the collecting process and how collectors make their choices. The talk is in English and will be held at Taidehalli, Helsinki.

With pockets full of good collecting tips it’s easy to head towards Cable Factory and Finnish Painters’ Union Art Sale  (held 14.3.–22.3.2015). The annual art sale involves more than 500 Finnish professional painters and more than 1500 works of art. The sale is a good opportunity to get an overall picture of the Finnish contemporary painting scene now.
